| Steven M. Deitz, a native of Hickory, North Carolina, is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Resurrection International Church, which is also based in Hickory. Pastor Deitz attended Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, North Carolina. After completing his studies through the Berean University of Springfield, Missouri, he received his ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God |

Pastor Deitz is married to his high school sweetheart, Balinda M. Deitz. They have two married children, and a number of grandchildren. Prior to entering full-time ministry, Pastor Deitz was a businessman in the Hickory area. His professional expertise lay in the area of sales management, which served as a strong foundation during his years as a successful entrepreneur and business owner. After being born again in 1979 and later baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1983, Pastor Steve and Pastor Balinda initiated a successful ministry via their local church where he served as an elder for six years. | |
Their ministry targeted college students and career-oriented young adults in the Hickory Metrolina area. Through his pastoral leadership, Resurrection International Church, is expanding daily to fulfill the vision of being "an extensive, unified, international family that is committed to encouraging the worship of God and teaching the whole message of this new life and equipping individuals to find their active place of ministry within the body of Christ". Resurrection International Church is affiliated with International Fellowship of Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Otis Lockett of Greensboro, NC, of which Pastor Deitz serves as Executive Director. He is also founder and overseer of New Breed Ministries, which provides leadership and covering for churches and pastors on a regional basis. Apostle Deitz has ministered nationally in Nigerian and Congolese churches, and he and Prophetess Balinda have ministered internationally in Africa, England, Belize, Mexico, Venezuela and Peru.
